Earlier this month, more than 150 people joined us for an informative panel discussion regarding equity, featuring key Chicagoland female leaders. Hosted by BMO Harris Bank, our guest panelists were women who have been change agents from the business, government, and nonprofit sectors. They each brought a unique perspective on systemic barriers they have had to overcome, as well as the various experiences they’ve encountered as each sector progresses towards a more equitable environment. The panelists shared with the audience some of their key learnings and takeaways in order to foster equity.
In the spirit of the event, we encourage you to continue this conversation with people in your own lives and feel inspired to take action, whether big or small. Here are a few easy ways:
- Join the social media conversation by using #standingtogether and #onthetable2018
