Chief Financial Officer, Heartland Alliance
Eli Rosario joined Heartland Alliance in November 2018 as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Mr. Rosario provides financial management leadership and expertise to ensure the financial stability, sustainability, and growth of the organization. He leads with a spirited, deep desire and rooted conviction to achieve high-impact results for the organization, its staff, and participants.
Mr. Rosario brings over twenty-five years of experience in professional business management, leadership, and accounting. Previously, Mr. Rosario served as Chief Financial/Administrative Officer for the Comer Science & Education Foundation and as Vice President, Finance & CFO at the Ounce of Prevention Fund. Prior to the Ounce, he served as Deputy Executive Director and CFO of the Philadelphia Housing Authority, as the Executive Vice President and CFO of the Chicago Housing Authority, as well as working in consulting and real estate development roles throughout the Midwest.
Mr. Rosario is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and currently serves on the board of directors for the Chicago Community Loan Fund. He holds an MBA from Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with concentrations in Accounting and Risk Management from Temple University.
