About our work:

Refugee & Immigrant Community Services (RICS) partners with refugees, asylees, immigrants and survivors of trafficking to address their needs by connecting them to their new community, providing education and employment services and the help they need to succeed in their new country. 

Last year we served:

  • 303 refugees arriving from Bhutan, Burma, Eritrea, Iraq, Iran, Somalia, Cuba and Congo

  • 158 refugees employed full or part time

  • 37 children engaged in 6 week summer program

  • 152 youth in after school  and mentoring programming

  • 1075 refugees and immigrants enrolled in Vocational English Language Training courses

  • 127 enrolled in job readiness workshops

  • 65 graduates of vocational readiness classes

  • 99 graduates of ABE transition and career exploration program
