Families Building Community (FBC) provides supportive services for families in their transition from shelter to permanent housing. FBC uses a strengths-based family case management model, providing intensive, home-based case management services, a rental subsidy for twelve months, and twelve months of follow-up case management. Families are housed in scattered-site, market-rate apartments in communities throughout Chicago.
