This annual conference focuses on the process, challenges, and advantages of creating and working in housing programs that embrace harm reduction—that is, housing that does not require abstinence from risky behaviors as the ticket for admission.

Each year our focus shifts in response to the current environment, feedback from the previous year’s attendees, and abstract submissions from people doing the work.  Our focus has broadened beyond housing to include any and all work related to supporting the people we serve within a harm reduction framework.  We also work to broaden the harm reduction conversation to include other potentially risky behaviors, new groups of people who could benefit, and continuous deepening of our understanding of this compassionate, pragmatic approach.

Details of our previous conference themes and offerings are available via the drop down menu under Conference above, many with downloadable resources.

We have resources available for you here to familiarize yourself with the basic principles prior to attending the conference, so that we can focus on tools and techniques to deepen our skills on the day of the conference.

We hope you can join us in the Fall!
