Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Financial Accountability Services

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Richard Grossi leads the financial strategy and operations of Heartland Alliance. He brings more than 25 years of private sector experience in financial management and accounting to the position.

Mr. Grossi is a certified public accountant, and he previously served as a Senior Auditor with Ernst & Young. He has held CFO positions with a variety of U.S. and European corporations, ranging from manufacturing to consulting services. Additionally, Mr. Grossi brings experience in information technology, having managed several IT departments and having been previously trained as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a Microsoft Certified Trainer.

Mr. Grossi graduated from Harvard University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He has a master’s in management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, with a concentration in finance and accounting. He is passionate about social policy in health care and human rights.
