Gwenn Rausch, FACHE, comes to HIHC with over 30-years experience and an impressive track record in healthcare and operations. Most recently she served 8-years as Chief Operating Officer of Saint Anthony Hospital, a 166 bed urban community hospital on Chicago's near Southwest side. During her tenure she demonstrated success in maintaining financial viability and quality standards for the organization and a genuine commitment to patient, provider, and associate satisfaction. In addition, she had a key role in the development of Esperanza, an FQHC look-alike primary care clinic, providing over 25,000 patient encounters annually in the Pilsen-Little Village community. She previously worked at Northwestern Memorial Hospital for many years where she served as the Administrator of the Stone Institute of Psychiatry.
Gwenn has a Masters degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois-Chicago and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. She is an active member of the Chicago Health Executive Forum and the Women’s Health Executive Network. She serves on the Beacon of Hope Committee for the Marillac Social Center.
