The Heartland Alliance Mid-America Institute on Poverty (MAIP) is a full-service research and evaluation resource. MAIP's research helps organizations raise awareness of social issues including poverty, homelessness and affordable housing, health care, human rights, employment, income supports, and asset development, and promote solutions that improve the quality of life for poor and low-income individuals.
