Manuel Saura Center

The Manuel Saura Center provides a community-based residential program, which is an alternative to detention for court-referred male and female youth aged 10-17. Youth receive shelter care services including educational instruction, recreation, life skills, health instruction, mental health services and individual and group counseling in a safe, structured and low-risk environment.  Youth are also provided transportation to and from court and other required appointments.  Rehabilitative services in a home-like atmosphere help the youth understand the reasons for their involvement in the criminal justice system and the impact of their actions on the community, all while providing them with the ability to become a positive force to change their future for the better.
