International Children’s Center (ICC)

The International Children's Center (ICC) provides housing, counseling, case management, and family reunification services to approximately 300 children a year, ages 0-17, who have been apprehended by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). ICC's 54-bed facility is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) as a Child Care Institution. ICC operates under a Cooperative Agreement with the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) to serve unaccompanied immigrant children, and has done so successfully since 1995.

Youth ages newborn to age 17 referred by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).
