The IDEA Initiative is an asset development initiative that provides individual consultation, courses, and workshops for currently employed, female heads of households who earn between $10,000-40,000 per year. Through individualized consultation, participants self-identify their financial literacy, housing, education, and career goals and are provided with the services and support to achieve them. Workshops, courses, and individualized consultation cover topics including financial management, housing stability, education and career development. Free asset development workshops are regularly offered throughout Chicago and provided onsite with employers /private business partners.
