Illinois Co-Occurring Center for Excellence (ICOCE)

The Illinois Co-Occurring Center for Excellence (ICOCE) provides training, technical assistance, and consultation throughout the State of Illinois to agencies that provide dual diagnosis treatment. The central role of ICOCE is to foster the use of evidence-based best practice models for the treatment of co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.

  • Technical assistance
  • Consultation in the areas of co-occurring disorders (e.g., substance use disorders and mental illness, infectious disease, and/or trauma), recovery-oriented systems of care, supported employment, illness management, motivation to change, organizational change, and cultural competency
