Family Self-Sufficiency

Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) is a HUD escrow savings program delivered in partnership with the Chicago Housing Authority. FSS enables residents to enroll in the program and save money as their income and rent increase. This five-year asset building program provides an incentive for residents to increase their earned income. Participants also receive individual consultation and attend financial literacy classes to increase economic stability.
