Cross-Cultural Interpreting Services

Cross-Cultural Interpreting Services (CCIS) provides language access services in interpreting, translating, training, and assessment. CCIS helps organizations improve the quality of services that are provided for limited- and non-English speaking clients while assisting with meeting related regulatory and legal requirements.

  • Language proficiency exams
  • Assessment of compliance with CLAS standards

Office hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Interpreters are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. For urgent after hours interpreting needs, please call 773-751-4094 to speak with the answering service.


With advanced notice, Heartland Alliance services can be provided in more than 40 different languages.
