Projects in the United States
Health care is a human right that should not be only for those who can afford it. For people living with HIV, Heartland Alliance offers comprehensive HIV services from early prevention medical care to programs that integrate housing and health care in the same facility. We also run several programs that treat people who are living with HIV and are recovering from substance abuse.
Having a roof over your head is not just a fundamental need, but also a basic human right. At Heartland Alliance, people living with HIV can find permanent, affordable housing, receive aid during a housing crisis, and work with Heartland Alliance staff to develop live skills needed to live independently.
