From Poverty to Opportunity Story Project

Human rights are fundamentally about dignity. People are not statistics and stereotypes – they are individuals with name and lives and stories. The story project is focused on telling these stories and upholding dignity.

Do you have a story to tell that will help people understand what it really means to experience poverty? Do you want to help others tell their story? We have put together several tools to make it easy.

The Online Story Form - This form allows you to share your story about experiencing poverty either through answering some helpful questions or through simply typing out your story.

The Interview Tool-Kit - This guide lays out the process for setting up and conducting an interview, as well as gives interviewing tips.

Downloadable Story Form - A pdf of the questions from the online form. This version works best for face-to-face interviews. You can then go to the online form and plug in the story later.
