Heartland International Health Centers (HIHC) are governed by a Board of Directors, made up of local community members and participants receiving services at our health centers. As a federally-qualified health center, at least 51% of HIHC board directors must be persons who are using the services of the organization. The board meets monthly and has four committees: Finance Committee, Community Relations and Planning Committee, Quality Improvement and Human Resources Committee, and the Nominating Committee.
