Interpreters are available
every day of the week. Our extensive database allows us to
promptly locate an interpreter according to language, gender,
location and/or client preference. When emergency situations
arise and there is no time to have an interpreter present,
CCIS can provide interpretation over the telephone within
minutes.
Request Translation Services
CCIS provides prompt, professional translation available
in over 70 languages.
All materials are reviewed by a second translator to ensure
accuracy. Translations are delivered via email and diskette,
with an accompanying hard copy. Notary services are also
available.
Register for Assessment
CCIS can assist employers in evaluating an individual’s interpretation
skills. The assessment may cover document translation, oral
testing (including dialogue conversation and providing
a sight translation of a document), vocabulary (industry
specific), and/or essay. CCIS can develop an assessment
exam integrating specific cultural concepts tailored to
meet any employer’s
needs.
Get information on Training
Our experienced team of trainers focuses on the
role and ethics of the professional interpreter while utilizing
intensive role-playing to prepare students for handling such
issues as client confidentiality, cultural barriers, and
ethical dilemmas. Each course emphasizes the facilitation
of communication between two people who speak different languages.
